Julia graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2010 and completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor & Continence Physiotherapy in 2015. Since then, Julia has worked extensively across Victoria and NSW in a range of public and private health care settings, founded and now directs a dedicated pelvic health service. She is now leading multiple teams in both pelvic health physiotherapy and musculoskeletal care. Julia provides community education and workshops to improve accessibility for women to pelvic health knowledge. Providing local, evidence based healthcare for regional and rural communities forms a significant part of her ethos as a practitioner.
Julia has advanced training in prolapse management and pessary care, pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation, bladder and bowel care, women's health in exercise, ante and post-natal health, paediatric pelvic floor health and chronic pain. Julia enjoys working with women from all stages of life and has a passion for providing holistic, therapeutic care for pelvic pain conditions.
Julia has been blessed enough to experience the wonder of pregnancy and childbirth, giving birth to 2 beautiful daughters in early 2016 and 2019. Her experience has given her new found empathy for clients, and further fuelled her passion in pelvic floor physiotherapy.
Julia is excited to share her skills and knowledge with clients through a variety of holistic wellness strategies and a network of likeminded health care practitioners.
